For performance reasons and to achieve a better clarity, try to code all necessary pieces in the application program.

 

Think of mass printing of forms: if there are a lot of select statements, as shown in the figure above, this example would resolve in identical selects on the database, which is crucial for the total system performance.

 

There may be some situations where it is not possible to code everything in advance inside the print program. In these cases, alternatives, conditions, initialization of variables, and so on can be coded inside this section (Code Initialization).

 

The figure above shows the exercise interface with the two relevant parameters IS_ADDRESS and IT_TITLES.

 

These parameters will be used later in the scripting of the interactive offline scenario.
