There are various method to create packages, out of which two are common as below :-

First Method:

1. Go to transaction SE80
   
   

    

2. Select “Package” from the list box and enter the package name to create and press ENTER.

    

3. You would be prompted for the creation of a Package.
   
   

    

4. Click "YES"

    

5. Enter the short description and other details in the next dialog box.
   
   

    

6. Click “Create”. The Package, ZDEMO, is created

    

7. Create a New Transport request.
   
   

    

Second Method:

1. Go to transaction SM30

    

2. Enter table name as V_TDEVC (Table where all the development classes/Packages  are stored)

    

3. Press Maintain.
   
   

    

4. Click on “Create Package.
   
   

    

5. Press Create.

    

6. Assign it to a Workbench request.

    

7. The Package/Development class is created.
